When you try the chat

We save your questions and the demo’s answers privately to improve the product and investigate problems. An anonymous, necessary cookie keeps your conversation together for up to 30 days. Chat records older than 30 days are excluded from the service and removed during the next cleanup triggered by chat activity. Starting a new browser session does not necessarily delete previous records.

The chat identifies whether it is using guided answers or AI. When AI is enabled, your question and recent conversation are sent to OpenAI to generate an answer, with API response storage disabled. This does not override a provider’s applicable security or abuse-monitoring retention. The guided preview uses our prepared SiteConvo content. Please do not include passwords, payment details, patient information or other sensitive information.

When you join early access

We store your email, optional website, signup time and, if you join through a pricing button, the plan you selected to manage the list and send SiteConvo launch updates. Joining does not create a customer account, install software, reserve a price or start a subscription. No payment is collected. Contact us to leave the list or request deletion. We retain list entries until you leave, request deletion, or the early-access program ends.

Visit and click logging

If you allow analytics, we record page views, demo opens, pricing clicks and signup clicks. These records contain an event name, a page path and a time. They do not include chat text, emails, full referrers or URL queries. Analytics records older than 30 days are removed during the next activity-triggered cleanup. Your choice is stored in your browser and can be changed using “Cookie choices” in the footer.

Necessary request processing and abuse prevention work regardless of optional analytics consent. We use short-lived, daily hashed network identifiers for rate limits and do not store raw IP addresses in the application database. Our hosting providers may process technical request information for delivery and security.

Who handles the data

SiteConvo uses Sites and Cloudflare to host the website and store records. OpenAI processes chat content when the AI connection is enabled. Records are available to the site operator for the purposes above and are not published in a public dashboard. We do not sell signup or chat data or use advertising trackers on this site.

Your choices

You can browse without optional analytics, avoid the demo, or ask us to delete a signup. For a chat deletion request, email us and we’ll explain how to identify the correct conversation. Email dax@billwithbomi.com with questions or requests.
